  • Annamaria, Claudia and Giancarlo tell about the beginning of Guscio di Noce, the Social Promotion Association, active for some years at the service of young adults with sensory disabilities and autism, which is located in Rome, Via Moncenisio, 4.

St. Luigi is present in the name of 'Nutshell' Association, as well as in its commitment: to welcome, educate, train and reintegrate into society those who live on the margins.

St. Luigi considers each person a resource, a precious gift, the expression and manifestation of God's Providence. Each person, even those with a disability...

It was a short interview to get to know more about the Guscio and its work, to dream of their future with the guys from Guscio.

The interview was carried out by Radio JEG as part of the JEG LIVE Video Radio Events Promotion program and was broadcasted on 25 February.

The aim of the program is to make known some realities of the city of Rome engaged in social issues.

    Good vision!

  • “Without memory we lose our roots and without roots we cannot grow”Pope Francis

On 1 February we remember the origins of our religious Family, the Sisters of Providence.

To commemorate the 185th anniversary of the birth of the Congregation (1 February 1837), a simple exhibition was set up at Fr. Luigi Center in Udine to tell, even visually, this wonderful story of charity and providence.

The documents are collected in four groups; the first two tell significant historical facts and the other two underline the educational activity carried out by our sisters.

For each document there is a caption with: the date, the author and the recipient, a small summary, a partial or full scan of the text.

WE INVITE ALL OF YOU TO VISIT THE EXHIBITION VIRTUALLY, by downloading the attached PDF immediately after the photos (see ATTACHED DOWNLOADS).

We hope that these images can help relive the spirit of the Institute's origins and give our hearts an extra touch of warmth, trust and hope.
